Double Billboard Award winning Radio Executive, Educator, International DJ and pioneer FIRST LADY is Program Director, Midday Personality and Mixer for Chicago’s newest radio station, 95.1FM Chicago. She is also a National Board Member of Black Women In Radio and President (BWIR) and President of the Chicago Chapter of National Black Radio Hall of Fame. WGCI-FM hired Chicago’s first female DJ (1986) and First Lady became the first female mixer to play House Music on the radio. Then known as Khrissie “Hott Mixx” Henderson, a member of the Fantastic Four all female House Music DJ team, First Lady became one of few women to record a House record. First Lady hosted #1 shows alongside some of the biggest names in the industry including: “Rick Party and First Lady” (WGCI-FM 107.5 1995 -1998); Co-host of the Isaac Hayes and Friends Morning Show (WRKS-FM 98.7); Friday night mix show with Hip Hop Legend Grandmaster Flash (WBLS-FM 107.5), as well as, shows for New York (WBLS-FM, KISS-FM and HOT 97 FM), Chicago (106 Jams, WGCI-FM and WVAZ-FM), Milwaukee (V100 FM) and Indianapolis (WTLC AM/FM).
