As an entrepreneur, radio and television host, Rene Miller has created some of the most coveted events in Atlanta. She is a veteran broadcaster and has worked with several radio stations across the country. With her company, Rene Miller presents- Rene created and developed two Atlanta mainstays, The Got Jazz Series, the largest free smooth jazz concert series in Centennial Olympic Park and LIVE from Loews with the Loews Hotel Group in Atlanta and Philadelphia.
Rene is a member of SAG-AFTRA, a Georgia Honorary State Senator, a 2 time Phoenix Award winner, a Community Award Honoree, recognized by the Atlanta Business League with the prestigious Creative Arts Award and recognized by the State of Georgia with the Outstanding Award for Excellence.
Currently, Rene is the Program Director and afternoon host for Smooth Jazz 101.1 WJZA. Since 19994, Rene can be seen daily on WSB-TV Channel 2 as the Mid-day Georgia Lottery host at 12:29p. Since 2018, Rene has been the red carpet host for the Mayors’ Masked Ball and the on stage host for Diner en Blanc Atlanta. She has been featured on 2 nationally syndicated programs Jazzin’ Up and Girl Talk. MFG Productions recently released her third nationally syndicated program, The J Spot. Beginning late 2020, Rene has created the much anticipated podcast, The Real Rene Podcast.
Born in Nuremburg Germany and raised in Tennessee, Rene enjoys movies, entertaining and playing with her dogs Umi and Dupree. She is a member of Word of Faith Cathedral in Austell.
